
Business Development Intern

Nandina REM is creating new sources of advanced materials for manufacturing supply chains. We are an early stage company specialising in the use of deep tech and material science to recover and remanufacture critical resources, creating a rapidly developing market for low-emission circular materials such as carbon fibre composites and metals.
We’re looking for a Business Development Intern to join our Commercial team. You’ll gain hands-on experience in market research, client outreach, and sales enablement while contributing to our mission of building the circular aviation industry and cutting 1 gigatonne of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
Please note, candidates must have the legal right to work in their jurisdiction of hire. Nandina REM is unable to sponsor local work visas for this role.
Key Responsibilities
As a Business Development Intern, you will work closely with the Business Development Director/Manager to support market research, client engagement, and commercial initiatives. Your tasks will include:

Conduct market research to identify potential clients, new markets, and growth opportunities.

Support the creation and updating of sales and marketing materials (presentations, proposals, pitch decks).

Assist in outreach activities, including drafting emails and scheduling meetings.

Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client and prospect information.

Participate in client calls, meetings, and follow-ups to support relationship building.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution.

Prepare reports and presentations to summarise research findings and track business performance.

Assist in event planning and coordination for business development activities (e.g., webinars, networking events).
Skills & Experience

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace; experience with CRM tools is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Prior internship or experience in sales, marketing, or business development is an advantage.
