
Talent Development Manager

Nandina REM is creating new sources of advanced materials for manufacturing supply chains. We are an early stage company specialising in the use of deep tech and material science to recover and remanufacture critical resources, creating a rapidly developing market for low-emission circular materials such as carbon fibre composites and metals.
We are seeking a Talent Development Manager to be on the frontline to shape our culture, attract top-tier talent and build structure in a hyper-growth start up.
This is a hands-on role that will require agility alongside designing and implementing key processes and frameworks to support our most valuable asset: our people. We are seeking someone who can anticipate the human resource needs of our organisation and proactively develop solutions to support our evolving structure to support our transition into our next growth phase.

Key Responsibilities
People Architecture:

Getting new team members started: Ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience, setting someone new up with what they need and helping them understand how things work.

Structure people's growth and development to help everyone on the team develop their skills to enjoy performing effectively.

Finding great people so we can continue to grow effectively. We need to hire for the culture we are building.

Support wellbeing: become a go-to person for the team.
Process Development:

Design lightweight, flexible frameworks that can be tested and iterated based on feedback.

Risk Management infrastructure: collaborate closely with legal and compliance support to build a foundational process and enable scaling these controls with the organisation without stifling innovation. Keep up to date on employment laws to make sure our people practices follow the rules.

Payroll support and managing benefits: Help ensure everyone gets paid correctly and on time. Review and manage our insurance and wider benefits program.
Technology Adoption:

Proficiency in leveraging technology and HR tech tools to automate tasks, streamline workflows. Comfort in testing new emerging tools to support these workflows.

Data-driven decision making to inform decisions about talent, performance and team engagement.

Utilize Agile Principles and their impact on team dynamics, communication and performance.
Skills & Experience

At least five years experience in human resource and talent development functions. Ideally within a startup environment.

Proven experience of developing and executing recruitment strategies.

Proven ability to build trusted advisor status with the teams you work with and advise leadership.

Ability to communicate effectively and proactively.
